Position Description * Supported daily data center operations to ensure high availability and reliable service levels * Performed hardware and network diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs to minimize downtime * Conducted root cause analysis for hardware and softwarerelated incidents * Assisted in training internal teams on procedures, tools, and best practices * Developed and maintained technical documentation and SOPs * Provided handson technical support to onsite and remote data center teams * Created and maintained automation scripts (Python, Bash) to update server and network hardware * Managed and maintained inventory, asset tracking, and equipment records * Assembled, installed, and decommissioned server and network equipment * Performed routine maintenance on test equipment and tooling * Traveled occasionally to other data center locations to support operations as needed Technical Skills * Data Center Operations * Rack & Stack * Hardware & Network Troubleshooting * Structured Cabling * Cisco IOS * Juniper / JUNOS * Python Scripting * Bash Scripting Top Skills * Data Center Operations * Rack & Stack * Troubleshooting * Cabling Additional Skills & Qualifications * Handson experience with computer hardware assembly and troubleshooting * Working knowledge of the Linux operating system * Ability to meet all physical job requirements with reasonable accommodations * Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working at elevated locations when required * Comfortable working in a 24/7 operational environment, including oncall rotation and afterhours support * Strong time management, organizational, and communication skills * Able to prioritize tasks effectively and respond quickly to critical issues Experience Level * EntryLevel Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ellendale, ND.
