Overview Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center is an independent, nonprofit organization providing adult cancer treatment and groundbreaking research focused on cancer and infectious diseases. Based in Seattle, Fred Hutch is the only National Cancer Institute-designated cancer center in Washington. The Administrative Coordinator I is responsible for providing administrative support, including planning, coordination, and implementation of various projects and activities under the direction of a senior research administrator in support of the Science Education department. The role interacts with all levels of professional and technical staff, students and teachers, and other internal and external collaborators. The position requires a commitment to providing excellent customer service, responsiveness, flexibility (both time and task), confidentiality, and creativity in approaching problem-solving. Adaptability to peaks in workflows, willingness to assist other members of the department, and a commitment to meeting deadlines are essential. Support a senior Research Administrator in the financial and logistical support of the Science Education Department, and be flexible in administrative support of the SciEd team and our partners across Fred Hutch.

The hourly pay range for this position is from $31.26 to $44.51 and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications. This role will have the opportunity to work partially at our campus and remotely.
