POSITION SUMMARY

The Digital Marketing Manager serves the Marketing team by leading Verve's digital demand engine and member engagement across web, search, social, email/journeys, and emerging AI driven channels. Ownership includes website experience and content strategy, business listings and online reputation, social media strategy, SEO/AIO (AI optimization), analytics/attribution, accessibility and compliance, and vendor management. The role collaborates closely with the VP of Marketing, Creative, Analytics, IT, Sales and Service, and outside partners to deliver growth, great experiences, and measurable ROI.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES




  • Lead, coach, and develop the Digital Marketing Specialist and the Marketing Generalist; prioritize workload and align goals to department objectives.





  • Collaborate with the VP of Marketing on integrated digital strategy and the roadmap across web, search, social, email/journeys, and content; define channel KPIs and optimize to business outcomes.





  • Own website content strategy and UX; drive conversion optimization and ensure accurate tagging/measurement (e.g., GA4, GTM) with stakeholders.





  • Advance local business listings and online reputation management across all locations; maintain accurate NAP data and respond to reviews with appropriate escalation.





  • Lead SEO and AIO (AI optimization) best practices including technical SEO, onpage optimization, structured data/schema, and AIready content patterns.





  • Set the social media strategy and editorial calendar integrated with offline marketing communications to publish engaging, compliant content that builds community and trust across platforms.





  • Partner with the VP Marketing, Marketing Analyst, Sales Enablement and others on lifecycle programs and Salesforce Marketing Cloud journeys; ensure proofing, QA, and data quality standards.





  • Deliver dashboards and insights for leadership; implement closedloop attribution to connect campaigns to applications, balances, and revenue.





  • Ensure ADA/WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility and marketing compliance (e.g., TILA/Reg Z, Reg DD, UDAAP, CANSPAM, TCPA) across digital content.





  • Manage digital vendors and budgets; scope, brief, QA, and evaluate ROI for agency and platform partners.





  • Champion Workfront processes (intake, proofs, SLAs) and maintain digital operating procedures.





  • Additional duties as assigned.



Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE



  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5-7 years progressive experience in digital marketing (financial services preferred) and 2+ years people leadership.
  • Hands on experience with GA4, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, and core SEO/AIO practices.
  • Experience with marketing automation/CRM (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud) and journey orchestration.
  • CMS proficiency; online banking content governance experience (e.g., Alkami) is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of ADA/WCAG and marketing compliance in a regulated environment.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively serve all levels of the organization as well as members of the Credit Union.

  • Possess a working knowledge of all relevant Banking Rules and Regulations. Data driven; strong analytical and testing mindset (A/B, multivariate, CRO).
  • Member focused; balances creativity with compliance and accessibility.
  • Foundational HTML/CSS and accessibility literacy; comfortable partnering with designers and developers.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT



  • Work Environment: Business office, the noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to sit or stand at a desk the majority of the day; talk or hear; stand or walk occasionally. While performing the duties of this job, the team member is typically utilizing a computer, keyboard, and phone. May occasionally reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, and crouch.
