Summary of the Job:

The Sr. Specialist will process mortgage loans efficiently and accurately. The role will create and maintain positive relationships with customers and all key business partners. This position also works in a continuous improvement environment where better practices are shared, and regular problem sessions take place.

About This Role:

  • Provide quality customer service by delivering prompt and accurate information.
  • Process mortgage loans to meet or exceed defined standards,productivity, and accuracy. Included in this is ordering various services for the loan, including homeowners' insurance, title insurance, appraisal, verifications of employment, and credit supplements. You'll also work with the income, asset, and credit documents associated with the file and ensure that the documentation that the underwriter needs is obtained.
  • Exhibit professional behavior and promote positive working relationships with business partners including the sales team, credit team, and compliance team.
  • Demonstrateadvocacy through organizational attributes- including adaptability, collaboration, initiative, and accountability.
  • Understand and comply with the banks BSA/AML Program.

The Ideal Candidate for This Role:

  • Previous customer facing experience.
  • Excellent communication skills; verbal, written and telephone.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Demonstrate effective time management skills.
  • Previous working experience in role/functions requiring high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to meet or exceed deadlines.
  • Must have prior Mortgage Processing experience
Candidates must possess unrestricted work authorization and not require future sponsorship.

Compensation:

Compensation range (base pay): $45,320.00-$72,512.00

This role may have a specific starting pay within this range.

Final compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon work experience, education, and/or skill level.

Work Environment:

It is anticipated that the incumbent in this role will work remotely, offering you the freedom to contribute to our mission from wherever you work best, without compromising on career growth or connection to our team. Regardless of your location, you'll be fully integrated into our team through robust digital collaboration tools and regular communication. The incumbent can work remotely from any of the states listed on the job posting, though occasional travel may be required for in-person meetings. Please note, work location is subject to change based on business needs.
