A Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (CIS) Clinician 2 is a capable clinician, focused on expanding knowledge and skills. Consistently provides effective direct care, as part of the interdisciplinary team, to a variety of complex patients. Manages care and implements treatment plans at a refined skill level in collaboration with patients, their families, physicians and other members of the health care team. Seeks as well as provides feedback for improved clinical practice. Assumes a beginning leadership role but seeks mentoring in this process. Demonstrates consistent application and knowledge of adult and pediatric procedural protocol while supporting the lab in a scrub, circulator, and/or monitor role.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education: Graduate of an accredited formal medical education program such as CVT, EMT, Paramedic, Radiography, Respiratory Therapy, Sonography, or Associate's Degree or greater in a Health Sciences related field. Radiography Technician preferred. Experience: Clinical patient care experience, 2 years or more strongly preferred. Licensure: Maintains certifications in ACLS. Preparing for certification in PALS, with manager discretion. If grandfathered at Clinician 2, there is a 6-month window to meet ACLS requirement. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Job requires sitting/standing for prolonged periods and frequently bending/stooping/walking, reaching (overhead, extensive, repetitive); Repetitive motion (computer keyboard). Proficient communicative, auditory, and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull 50-100lbs. Ability to wear lead aprons for extended periods of time. May be exposed to chemicals, cold, dust, noise, radiation, blood/body fluids/infectious disease. The starting base rate for this role is $33.27 hourly.
