Summary:

Responsible and accountable for all administrative aspects of Presbyterian Medical Group (PMG) specialty clinics. Work collaboratively with Service Lines and other functional groups.

Leads strategic planning and implementation in PMG specialty clinics to align with Service Line and PMG initiatives.

Responsible for the performance and accountability of designated sites. Accountable for customer service. Serves as a support and liaison to providers. Leads special initiatives for PMG, such as meaningful use and referral management.

Job Description:

  • Oversees all operations activities in PMG Specialty Care ambulatory facilities
  • Develops the appropriate standardization of operational procedures and policies; establishes and implements policies and procedures across all sites.
  • Create and implement organizational responsiveness to the needs of customers, employees, physicians in alignment with service lines and PMG.
  • Develops and monitors systems to insure compliance requirements related to practice site management are achieved.
  • Provides PMG Operational leadership and direction for areas of responsibility to include the achievement of organizational performance and patient safety.
  • Develops new programs and services, as care delivery needs change in collaboration with other ambulatory managers, inpatient administration, as well as members of the PMG administrative leadership team.
  • Collaborates with Medical Directors to assure optimal program operations, as well as participating in the hiring and orienting of new specialty physicians
  • Coordinate operational initiatives with related services, healthplan, facilities, physicians and employees.
  • Mentor and coach direct reports and others to assist with their performance improvement and achievement of departmental and organizational goals, including oversight of budget development and adherence and remove organizational barriers and obstacles.
  • Assist the Medical Directors with the delivery of clinical performance information to clinicians and teams, and monitor performance improvement. Coach and represent data to help teams improve.
  • Collaborates with other Service Line Administrators to develop safe care practices and standard work.
  • Accountable for the implementation of referral relationships for services, including an active and visible presence in referring communities with referring physicians. Measure and manage referral performance consistent with the integrated professional model.
  • Performs other functions as required.

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in Healthcare/Business Administration required.
  • Fifteen (15) years experience working within a complex healthcare environments or CMPE Certification with a minimum of 5 years experience working within a complex healthcare environment.
  • Related ambulatory experience helpful. Strong verbal and non-verbal communication skills
