The Technical Data Administrator (TDA) is responsible for the control, maintenance, and integrity of technical data, including QMS controlled forms, procedures, specifications, drawings, and quality records. This role ensures that approved, current, and accurate technical data is available at the point of use and complies with company, customer, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
* Administer and maintain controlled technical documents and forms in accordance with document control procedures.
* Ensure proper revision control, approval workflows, distribution, and archival of technical data.
* Maintain document traceability, change history, and configuration integrity.
* Coordinate document changes, updates, and obsolescence to prevent use of outdated or uncontrolled data.
* Support engineering, quality, manufacturing, and supplier teams with technical data requests and updates.
* Ensure technical data compliance with quality management system requirements (e.g., AS9100, ISO 9001, FAA).
* Manage technical records retention, storage, and retrieval in accordance with regulatory and customer requirements.
* Support internal and external audits by providing controlled technical data and objective evidence.
* Monitor document control metrics such as overdue revisions, approval cycle time, and document accuracy.
* Train users on document control processes and proper use of controlled forms.

Knowledge & Skills
* Strong understanding of document control and configuration management principles.
* Familiarity with controlled forms, procedures, work instructions, drawings, and specifications.
* Experience with document management systems (DMS, PLM, QMS platforms).
* Understanding of record retention, traceability, and audit readiness.
* High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
