We are looking for aBusiness Controller who plans, controls and continuously improves financial performance of Industrial Measurements AMER and Xweather business units. This is a hybrid role in ourBurlington, Massachusetts office for a global Finance & Control team. Leading performance, not location. Our culture is trust-based. What's your role?



  • Represent the Finance & Control organization in Industrial Measurements' AMERandXweatherbusiness units.



  • Proactively influence AMER business decisions by translating financial performance into actionable insights through planning, analysis, and reporting.



  • Support the Xweather subscription business by providing financial steering, sales performance transparency, and business control expertise aligned with subscription/SaaS business needs.



Key tasks:



  • Provide accurate and timely planning, reporting, and analysis of the units' business performance.



  • Manage the budgeting and long-range planning process for the units.



  • Monitor and control financial risks and opportunities.



  • Define, measure, and analyze KPIs.



  • Provide financial support for Industrial Measurements AMER and Xweather organizations.



  • Oversee Brazil entity financials (e.g. period-end close, reporting, and cash flow forecasting), with operational execution delivered by an outsourced finance service provider. Serve as the primary interface to the provider and centralized finance process owners.



  • Participate in development initiatives and projects, e.g., geographical expansion.



  • Participate in the design, execution, and monitoring of the Xweather sales incentive model, ensuring alignment with business objectives and clarity for the sales team.



What will you bring?



  • Couple of years' experience in business controlling.



  • Strong knowledge of financial and management accounting.



  • Excellent analytical skills with a proactive, results-oriented attitude.



  • Ability to work effectively with sales teams and translate commercial performance into actionable financial insights.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills.



  • Strong influencing and persuasion capabilities.



  • Ability to drive change initiatives and development activities.



  • Nice to Have: fluency in Portuguese is an asset, US Passport for the occasional international trip (Latin America or Finland).



ANTICIPATED SALARY RANGE:$100,000 - $125,000 base salary with our annual Vaisala STI bonus plan. Salary is determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
