Your Role

The Medicare Quality organization is recruiting for a Senior Analyst to support quality improvement strategy and operational execution across HEDIS, Medicare Stars, member experience (CAHPS), clinical programs, and health equity initiatives.

This role will play a critical part in synthesizing data, translating analytical findings into actionable insights, and supporting the operational performance of Medicare Quality programs. While this position partners closely with the Clinical Quality Analytics (CQA) team, it remains embedded within and directly aligned to the Medicare Quality organization.

This role is ideal for an experienced analyst who can operate with independence, manage moderately complex analytical work, interpret findings for business partners, and support cross-functional quality workstreams with strong analytical rigor and thoughtful communication.

The Senior Analyst will report directly to the Senior Director, Clinical Quality (Medicare Quality Leader).

Our leadership model is about developing great leaders at all levels and creating opportunities for our people to grow - personally, professionally, and financially. We are looking for leaders that are energized by creative and critical thinking, building and sustaining high-performing teams, getting results the right way, and fostering continuous learning.

Your Knowledge and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in public health, social science, business, data science, health services research, computer science, MIS, or equivalent experience is required.
  • Master's degree (MPH, MS, MBA, MA) is preferred.
  • 5 years of experience in health care (managed care, payer, academic, or government), ideally within quality, analytics, operations, or clinical programs is required.
  • Demonstrated experience with SQL, SAS, or similar analytic tools; strong Excel and data presentation skills.
  • Ability to independently manage analysis projects, define reporting requirements, and communicate complex concepts to non technical audiences.
  • Strong problem solving skills and ability to work with moderately complex datasets, business rules, and quality measurement methodologies.
  • Experience partnering with cross functional analytics teams (e.g., CQA) while maintaining alignment to a business owner or operational team.
  • Working knowledge of HEDIS, Stars, CAHPS, or health care quality measures (preferred but not required).
  • Experience with Tableau or other data visualization tools.
  • Familiarity with clinical coding systems (ICD 10, CPT, DRG, LOINC, pharmacy codes).
  • Experience supporting quality improvement, care management, provider performance, or regulatory programs.
