What We Need:

This position will be responsible for the daily creation, maintenance, and management of information in support of HNI Master Data Management and governance initiatives. This position will also serve as analytical support, subject matter expert, and administrator of HNI Master Data Management related to the Oracle e-Business Suite from an HNI enterprise level.
The Senior Master Data Analyst role will require superior knowledge and skills related to the functions of the Master Data Analyst role. Senior Master Data Analyst has ability to manage large and complex tasks, is cross-trained in multiple functional areas, works independently to make informed decisions, and can successfully problem-solve and trouble-shoot complex problems.
This position will be an integral part of HNI Master Data Management initiatives that drive data as an asset through supporting the analysis, development, and implementation of focused improvements related to data attributes and intelligence. These activities leverage data across the various HNl brands, efficient order fulfillment processes, and lean practices.

What You Will Do:

  • Execute the analysis and decision relating to creation, maintenance, and management of data in EBS (Oracle)
  • Responsible for maintaining and governing the integrity of the Master Data. Verify all required documentation is available and ensure efficient end to end record completion
  • Communicate across HNI brands and departments to resolve any data discrepancies
  • Develop and maintain standard work documentation
  • Train on and support adherence to data standards, processes, and naming conventions across shared data systems
  • Research, analyze, and consult as required to support data users across the HNI organization
  • Support, test, recommend solutions for technology enhancements which enable efficiency and productivity gains around data management and maintenance
  • Recommend solutions and provide support for improved business processes around the shared administration of data
  • Implement process mapping, business case development, workflow definition, and requirements definition around data management
  • Execute governance and audit reviews around HNI master data to ensure integrity and completion of data at operational levels
  • Critical thinking skills to problem-solve and trouble-shoot complex problems
  • Aptitude, knowledge, and confidence to train other members successfully
  • Cross trained and independent in multiple master data functional areas

What You Have:

Minimum Required:
  • Associate's degree required. For current Members AA or 2 years HNI Master Data Management experience
  • Minimum 2-3 years in HNI related data role experience involving multiple, complex systems and various types of data.
  • Experience in HNI Customer Service, Sales Operations, Credit, and/or Accounting
  • Proven superior high level of knowledge and understanding of master data to solve difficult and complex problems.
  • Demonstrated success with difficult and complex tasks and projects.
Preferred:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Oracle EBS experience
  • Project management experience
