Primary function of a Construction Technology Specialist: Responsible for managing the use of Procore Project Management software across the Company and administering end user support. Duties:
- Provide end-user support for all issues and requests in a responsive, effective, and efficient manner
- Serve as the primary liaison with Procore for resolving issues and improving product implementation
- Serve as a liaison with the Division offices to maximize efficient and consistent usage of the system
- Obtain Certification in all Procore Tools available to the Company
- Update the company Training Center content and end user certifications with the latest product releases and company operations procedures
- Provide training for new users of Procore, individually and small groups, including mobile device usage for Field Supervision
- Prepare an annual Plan for end-user training
- Provide individual Procore tool usage analysis data and reporting for each Company division
- Continuously develop the understanding of the capabilities of Procore and roll out applicable updates
- Create and distribute monthly newsletter highlighting the latest features and training opportunities
- Identify efficiencies that Procore can provide the Company including potential integrations with other Company software platforms
- Provide for and support the development of standard project and company level reports and dashboards
- Support the incorporation and implementation of PowerBI data analytics software reporting
- Coordinate and lead Company attendance at Procore's annual Groundbreak conference and comprehensive post-event debriefing to identify key takeaways and establish actionable next steps
Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience:
- Four-year college degree in engineering, construction management, construction technology, information technology, or equivalent
- Minimum of three years' experience in a Construction related industry; project management and/or operations experience preferred
- Strong understanding of construction processes, project management systems, technology platforms & workflows
- Strong desire/passion to remain current and informed on advancements in construction-related technology
- High degree of proficiency in Microsoft Office (including Excel, Word and Power Point) with proven ability in construction related software packages
- Basic knowledge and experience with BIM software, PowerBI and HTML preferred
- Experience creating and hosting training content preferred
- Ability to document and communicate project completion and project status data to various departments
- Strong attention to detail, organization skills, controlled sense of urgency, and the ability to manage multiple, competing priorities
- Ability to communicate effectively and confidently (oral and written) with people representing a variety of backgrounds and skill levels; must have poise, polish, and effective presentation skills
- Travel to division offices/jobsites and occasional overnight travel required
