Supply Chain Manager

As the Supply Chain Manager, you will develop and refine supply options to balance service and cost. You will lead the operations planning function for the facility.

This is on site role and will report to the Supply Chain Director.

Key responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and lead the operations planning function for the facility, which includes packaging, raw material procurement, production planning, inventory and scheduling in order to meet the requirements of service and quality, satisfying safety and environmental regulations.
• Lead team of 10 planners and analysts in aspects of execution of inventory and supply plans.
• Measure inventory health and initiate actions to minimize at risk inventory and improve inventory health.
• Ensure that the supply chain is set up to optimize working capital and achieve required service levels.
• Perform analytics to aid in inventory replenishment and safety stock settings and analyzing stock vs. made to order items.
• Collaborate with other teams (Sales, Technical, Operations, Customer Service, and Demand planning) to develop and implement operational excellence in Supply and Inventory Planning.
• Lead daily relationships with PPG affiliate suppliers and external contract manufacturers (tollers).
• Work with purchasing to manage the strategic and commercial aspects of vendor relationships for purchased finished goods, raw materials, and packaging.
• Oversee purchasing raw materials within published lead times and at the lowest possible cost.
• Manage raw material inventory to minimize investment without negative impact on manufacturing efficiency.
• Lead end to end supply chain for USCA supply, including working with supply sources, setting stock levels and parameters, measure performance, and execute actions where needed to achieve high service levels with optimum inventory levels.
• Ensure adherence to all applicable environmental, health and safety regulations, standards and policies
• Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization

Requirements:

• 5+ years of Supply Chain experience in a batch manufacturing facility
• BS/BA in Supply Chain, Operations, or Engineering.
• APICS certification
• Oracle &/or SAP experience
• Advanced Excel Skills (Pivot tables, Vlookups) and Power BI
