Job Description




As a Security Officer - Main Lobby Access Control in Lebanon, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a prominent commercial real estate location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entry points, conducting routine patrols, and remaining visible throughout your assigned area. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

  • Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized individuals.
  • Provide customer service by assisting visitors and responding to inquiries in a professional manner.
  • Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies for access control.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.
  • Observe and report any suspicious or unusual activity to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as required.
  • Assist with emergency response activities as appropriate, following instructions from Allied Universal and/or client leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
