POSITION

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with 5-8 years of experience in Accounting. The ideal candidate will be an independent thinker with a strong command of US GAAP and a proven ability to thrive in complex, fast-paced environments. Experience in the asset management industry is a plus.

This role requires someone who can confidently perform general accounting functions, contribute to process development and improvements, and support the development of governance and controls. The successful candidate will be a quick learner, comfortable with ambiguity, and capable of executing new ideas with minimal supervision.

We currently operate in a hybrid working model, whereby you will be required to work in-office 4 days a week.

RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Perform and review general ledger accounting activities in accordance with US GAAP.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new accounting processes and internal controls.
  • Support the month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Support audits and respond to auditor inquiries.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS



  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
  • 5-8 years of progressive experience in corporate accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, advanced formulas, etc.)
  • Experience with Oracle ERP or similar financial systems is a plus.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS



  • Experience in the asset management industry is a plus.
  • Public Accounting experience is a plus
  • Familiarity with financial reporting tools and data visualization platforms.
  • Experience with investments and/or revenue accounting is a plus.
  • Experience designing or enhancing accounting processes and governance controls.


Base Pay Range: $95,000 - $110,000

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary bonus programs, or other annual or non-annual incentive or sales plans.)
