Description

Job Summary:The Seafood Processor 1 role processes seafood products by performing the following duties.

KeyResponsibilities:

  • Cleans, scraps,andtrimsproduct.

  • Opens and removes raw materials and places on belts.

  • Segregates product on conveyor belt or table according to grade, color, and size, and places product in containers or on designated conveyors.

  • Discards cull (inferior or defective) items and foreign matter.

  • Packs product in boxes, barrels, baskets, or crates for storage or shipment.

  • Operates machine(s) to move live orpackedseafood from place to place.

  • Reviews workspace for cleanliness and safety.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Acquiresknowledge of Trident's Environmental and Safety Policies by completing required training programs and performing designated work activitiesin accordance withtraining and procedures/work instructions.

  • Notifiesdesignated personnel of any environmental or safety incidents or risks not previously documented,in accordance withEnvironmental Awareness and/or safety trainings.

  • Follows plant food safety policies and industry best practices.

  • Performs other similar or related duties as requested or assigned.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Entry level position. No minimum qualifications.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1 year experience in food manufacturing

  • HS Diploma or equivalent

Physical Demands:
