Assistant Professor - Healthcare Administration

A full-time faculty member in the AS in Healthcare Administration program will provide high-quality instruction in foundational healthcare management, administrative practices, and regulatory concepts. This role includes developing and delivering courses, assessing student learning, and maintaining current knowledge of industry trends. In addition, the faculty member will coordinate the program by overseeing curriculum alignment, supporting adjunct faculty, assisting with recruitment and retention initiatives, and engaging with healthcare employers. The position requires a commitment to student success, program growth, and collaborative engagement within the department.

Master's Degree or higher in a relevant field (healthcare administration, public health, health services, etc.)

3 to 5 years' experience in healthcare administration or management (e.g. working in hospitals, health systems, long-term care, healthcare policy, medical facilities).

Doctorate degree in a relevant field.

Experience teaching at the Community College level or higher in a healthcare related field.

Experience with online learning and online course development as a faculty member.

5 or more years' experience in healthcare administration or management.
