Job Overview
Title: Aerospace Paint 10/85 Dri-Lube Masker Reports to: Value Stream Manager Location: Kent, WA (Onsite) Type: Full-Time, Non-Exempt (Hourly) Schedule: 1st Shift Hytek production is open 24 hours per day. All shifts are as follows: 1st shift (Monday - Friday, 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.), 2nd shift (Monday - Friday, 2:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.), 3rd shift (Sunday - Friday, 10:00 p.m. - 6:30 a.m.) Job Summary Employees in this position will apply a variety of maskants to parts in preparation for paint application. Maskers may be required to join the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) DOT Drug & Alcohol Testing Program*. Maskers perform operations in accordance with Military and OEM specifications. * FAA DOT Drug & Alcohol Testing Program requires an initial pre-employment drug test including a screen for THC, subject to quarterly Drug & BAT testing. Essential Mental/Physical Demands * Ability to lift occasionally: (floor to waist) 33 lbs., (waist to shoulder) 3 lbs (waist to waist) 3 lbs., 22 lbs. * Ability to carry 33 lbs. occasionally * Ability to push/pull 38 lbs. occasionally * Ability to stand and walk occasionally * Ability to sit frequently * Ability to reach from the shoulder and overhead occasionally and from the waist constantly * Ability to bend, stoop, squat, crouch, kneel, crawl occasionally * Ability to climb stairs and ladders occasionally * Ability to push/pull and twist occasionally * Ability to pivot, grasp, pinch frequently * Ability to see/hear/feel constantly - hearing protection required when working in the area Occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, and fumes from metal finishing chemicals. Temperatures in the work environment can fluctuate with outside weather conditions. Due to the manufacturing environment, Personal Protection Equipment is required including safety glasses, goggles, aprons, rubber boots, gloves, and respirator (provided by Company).
