Job Title: Sr. Principal Product Manager (Data Cloud)

Job Location: Menlo Park, California, USA, Hybrid (Tues, Wed, Thurs in-office & Mon, Fri- WFH)

OpenText is a global leader in Data & AI, and Enterprise Information Management - serving 120,000+ customers including 99 of Fortune 100 companies.

We are hiring a Senior Principal, Product Management, to define and drive the product strategy for Data Cloud, a foundational pillar of our AI Data Platform. Data Cloud transforms enterprise content and application data into governed, trusted, AI-ready data products that power next-generation agentic AI, enterprise search, knowledge discovery, and analytics.

Your Impact:

In this highly strategic role, you will own the product vision, roadmap, and execution for Data Cloud. You will work at the intersection of AI, data architecture, and enterprise applications, partnering closely with engineering, architecture, go-to-market, and executive leadership to bring a transformative AI data platform to market.

What the role offers:

As a Senior Principal Product Manager, you will:

  • Define the long-term product vision for Data Cloud, aligned with the AI Data Platform strategy and secure information management for AI purpose.
  • Own, prioritize, and continually refine the Data Cloud product roadmap - including data unification, ingestion, governance, knowledge graph services, and AI-native data capabilities.
  • Partner with engineering and architecture teams to turn innovation concepts (RAG, agentic workflows, contextual search, hallucination-reduction frameworks) into shipment-ready product features and release plans.
  • Ensure all roadmap decisions align with customer needs, market opportunities, and business outcomes.
  • Lead strategic customer pilots across content-heavy industries (legal, healthcare, financial services) and drive measurable ROI outcomes.
  • Collaborate tightly with GTM teams - marketing, sales, enablement - to build messaging, pricing strategies, launch plans, and competitive positioning.
  • Work with data governance, security, and compliance teams to embed privacy, lineage, and quality controls into the product.
  • Represent OpenText as a product thought leader for enterprise AI data platforms in executive briefings, customer councils, and industry events.

What You Need to Succeed:

  • 10+ years of product management experience in data platforms, enterprise software, or AI/ML systems.
  • Demonstrated success shipping complex platform products for large enterprises or Fortune 500 customers.
  • Deep understanding of product lifecycle, roadmap prioritization, customer discovery, and GTM execution.
  • Strong understanding of modern data architecture: structured/unstructured data integration, data products, Delta/Iceberg, data pipelines, and metadata systems.
  • Hands-on familiarity with knowledge graphs, semantic technologies (RDF, SPARQL, Neo4j), and vector search.
  • Experience with AI/ML - especially LLMs, retrieval-augmented generation, agentic AI, and model-contextual platforms.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence both business and technical stakeholders.
  • Exceptional executive communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts in business terms.

What We Offer

  • A unique opportunity to shape the Data Cloud to transform the future of work.
  • The ability to impact strategy, roadmap, and business outcomes at scale.
  • A culture that fosters innovation, collaboration, and growth.
  • Competitive compensation and benefits.
