Summary: The Janitor is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation within company facilities, ensuring compliance with established standards. This role involves a range of tasks focused on keeping both the interior and exterior areas of the facility. The starting pay will be $20.00 per hour, with a shift differential of $0.50. The current shift is 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

What You'll Be Doing:

Facility Maintenance and Sanitation:


  • Clean warehouse, offices, and restrooms using hand brooms, power scrubbers, sweepers, and vacuum cleaners.


  • Empty and clean trash cans daily in all areas.


  • Maintain cleanliness in break rooms and work areas.


  • Wax and buff office and restroom floors as needed.


  • Move and adjust office and break room furniture as necessary.


  • Ensure high standards of sanitation and housekeeping are consistently met.


  • Monitor and maintain pest control systems.


  • Operate various cleaning equipment, including sit-down and walk-behind scrubbers, and utilize a compactor.

Grounds Maintenance:


  • Keep company grounds free of litter and debris.



Safety Compliance:


  • Report any safety concerns to the shift supervisor.


  • Adhere to OSHA and MSDS standards.

What You Need:

A. Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.

B. Experience: At least one year of maintenance and cleaning experience preferred.

C. Knowledge/Experience/Skills: Ability to follow instructions and operate power cleaning equipment.

Physical Demands and Work Environment


  • Ability to stand, sit, squat, crawl, bend, twist, and kneel for up to 12 hours.


  • The capability to navigate through narrow and confined spaces.


  • Work on sloping, uneven, and slippery surfaces.


  • Exposure to varying temperatures, including heat, cold, and damp conditions.


  • Exposure to high noise levels requires the use of hearing protection.


  • Use hands and fingers to manipulate objects of varying sizes and weights.


  • Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry objects up to 50 pounds.
