What You'll Do: Perform preventive maintenance and light mechanical repairs. Verify vehicle mechanical status. Create and maintain vehicle history and maintenance (may up fit vehicles with necessary equipment). Follow all safety procedures. Who You Are: You're comfortable with all the rigors of working on a vehicle and believe the best way to improve is to take advantage of training opportunities that roll your way. You have the following qualifications: Minimum: 1+ years of related work experience Ability to drive standard and automatic transmission vehicles. Safe drivers are needed; a valid driver's license is required. ASE Certification: A4, A5 Preferred: High school diploma or GED Continue training to maintain current A.S.E. status and to meet with technology and fleet changes as they occur. MCCOX USD 23.51 - 35.24 per hour Compensation: Hourly base pay rate is $23.51 - $35.24/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program. Benefits: Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
