Internship Program Overview

Our 10-week summer internship program givesstudentshands-on experience and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while learning about our organization.Internswill connect with leaders,participatein development sessions like self-assessments and business overviews, and take part in networking and community initiatives. The program concludes with a final presentation to leaders and peers, whereinternsshowcasetheirwork, share ideas, and receive valuable feedback.

Who we are looking for

This is what you will do

The Global Pipeline Strategy Intern will support the Inborn Errors of Metabolism ("AIM") Global Pipeline Strategy Team in evaluating andoptimizingthe product pipeline to ensure alignment with long-term businessobjectives.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Assistin the analysis of market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to inform pipeline strategy and business development activities.
  • Support the development and maintenance of pipeline models and databases.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, marketing, medical affairs, patientadvocacyand business development, to gather and synthesize data.
  • Contribute to the preparation of strategic presentations and reports for senior management.
  • Participate in strategic planning meetings and provide insights based on research and analysis.

You will need to have

  • Currentlypursuing a graduate-level degree (Master's or PhD) in Life Sciences, Business, or a related field with an expected graduation date of Fall 2026 or later.
  • Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiencyin Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion forhelping patients with rare diseases, advancing thebiotechnologyindustryand a keen interest in strategic planning.

Location

This is a hybrid rolebased inBoston, MA. Interns are expected to work on-site up to 3 days per week.

Compensation

The hourly basepayfor this position ranges from $22 to $30. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtimepaywhen working qualifying overtime hours.Basepayoffered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including education level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.If hired, the employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify basepay(as well as any other discretionarypayment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
