What You'll Do:

In this impactful role, you will enhance manufacturing efficiency and product quality by applying strong engineering fundamentals to medium- and high-complexity challenges. Your work will directly support critical production goals while fostering collaboration across technical teams.

* Lead Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) processes, developing and implementing robust solutions for complex technical manufacturing challenges

* Design, optimize, and qualify manufacturing processes for components and products, using methodologies such as Design of Experiments (DOE) to improve yield and throughput

* Drive incremental equipment and process improvements to increase operational efficiency and production capability

* Contribute to cross-functional efforts to standardize and advance manufacturing technologies in support of cost-effectiveness and process capability goals

* Manage and ensure timely availability of manufacturing resources including fixtures, tooling, software, and documentation, while staying within budget

* Develop and refine manufacturing test strategies for new and existing hardware, writing comprehensive test plans and improving test platform performance

* Implement and maintain strong process controls using statistical techniques and data analysis to identify trends, resolve issues, and define critical process parameters

* Analyze failure data and operational metrics to identify opportunities for quality, cost, and throughput improvements

* Influence product designs for improved manufacturability (DfX), partnering with design teams to optimize cost, quality, and availability

* Research and evaluate new technologies and suppliers to reduce costs and improve production quality and reliability

Must-Have Qualifications:

* Proven expertise in troubleshooting and failure analysis

* Strong background in component engineering

* Experience with system availability principles

* Proficiency in functional test development

* Solid industry experience within manufacturing environments

* Skilled in test process development and tool maintenance

* Experience with structural testing

* Deep understanding of manufacturing processes, tools, or process engineering

* Familiarity with manufacturing technologies and automation

* Knowledge of the product development lifecycle

* Experience in production management

* Background in hardware manufacturing

* Understanding of software system design

* Design knowledge related to hardware manufacturing and operations engineering

* Proficiency in statistical or data analytics
