The Position
2026 Summer Intern - Biotransformation Group, Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics Department Summary We have an exciting opportunity for a talented intern to join our biotransformation group in the Department of Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics (DMPK) at Genentech in South San Francisco, CA. The DMPK group is dedicated to enabling the discovery, development and commercialization of safe and effective medicines by elucidating the absorption, distribution, metabolism, excretion and pharmacokinetic properties of small molecule drug candidates. We accomplish this through the application of state-of-the-art technologies and sciences of bioanalysis, drug metabolism, drug transport and pharmacokinetics. The successful candidate will work closely with scientists in a highly-collaborative environment to support the biotransformation function. The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of California is $50.00 hour. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
