Security Officer - Driving - Patrol

As a Security Officer - Badge Access Control in Milwaukee, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control professional with Allied Universal at a leading food and beverage location, you will monitor entrances, manage badge access, and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents. Your presence and attention to detail will contribute to a welcoming environment while you deliver outstanding customer service. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access to the location to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or breaches of security-related policies.
• Verify the identity of individuals entering and exiting the premises, maintaining logs and checking credentials as required by site-specific procedures.
• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by responding to inquiries and offering assistance as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the business and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify potential security-related concerns.
• Report and document all incidents, suspicious activities, and/or breaches of security-related procedures according to Allied Universal and site policies.
• Follow emergency response procedures and assist with evacuation or other emergency activities as directed by site management or Allied Universal supervisors.

Minimum Requirements:

• You must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
