Job Description




As a Security Officer - Chemical Patrol Driver in Texas City, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible throughout the site to help deter security-related incidents. This driving post involves monitoring assigned areas, providing outstanding customer service, and maintaining open communication with site personnel. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the chemical or petrochemical facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and report any irregularities or suspicious behaviors encountered during patrols.
  • Work collaboratively with facility staff and Allied Universal team members to support security-related needs specific to the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • Supervisory experience is required.
  • A Transportation Security Administration issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
