Security Officer - Aero Facility Patrol

As a Security Officer - Aero Facility Patrol in Rockford, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned aerospace and defense locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. You will conduct routine patrols and interact with personnel and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter to help to deter potential issues and identify security-related concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents encountered during patrols.
• Support access control procedures by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required.
• Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and/or site leadership regarding incidents, concerns, or observations.
• Assist with emergency response activities, including evacuation procedures and coordination with first responders when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
