As a Security Officer - Industrial Front Desk in Newton, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will be the first point of contact, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing exceptional customer service. You will monitor access, assist visitors, and maintain a welcoming environment. This is a driving post and requires a valid driver's license. What You'll Do:

• Greet and assist visitors, employees, and/or vendors at the front desk, providing excellent customer service while following site-specific protocols.
• Monitor access to the facility, verifying identification and credentials to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal procedures and site-specific guidelines.
• Maintain accurate logs and records of visitors, deliveries, and/or incidents as required by the location.
• Communicate professionally with clients, employees, and visitors to address inquiries and provide information as needed.
• Support security-related procedures and emergency response activities in accordance with Allied Universal and location policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
