Responsibilities

  • Promote the vision, mission, and values of Blanchard Machinery Company while fostering a safe, positive work environment.
  • Forecast and manage inventory for machine, power generation, on-highway truck, and rental divisions; ensure compliance with cycle counts, audits, and returns.
  • Lead inventory teams to maintain branch stock levels, manage backorders, and oversee daily/nightly distribution.
  • Collaborate with Parts Process Manager, Product Support Sales Director, Marketing, and OEMs to achieve revenue and operational excellence program targets.
  • Partner with service departments and branch leaders to support service growth through effective parts planning, delivery, and returns.
  • Implement customer satisfaction initiatives to continually improve customer loyalty.
  • You will drive the critical statewide adoption and successful stabilization of the new Warehouse Management System (WMS) at our new 200,000 square foot Product Support Headquarters currently under construction in the Columbia SC area
  • You will lead operations for the largest tractor dealer parts distribution center in SC, overseeing the high-throughput 50,000 sq ft warehouse featuring three high volume vertical lift modules (VLM), 24 hr. automated parts pickup lockers, and 2 million cubic feet of rack storage.
  • Drive improvements in process efficiency, order fulfillment, inventory accuracy, automation, eCommerce growth, employee development, and customer experience.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
  • 5+ years in parts operations or logistic/supply chain 10 years preferred.
  • Previous Caterpillar, Automotive, or similar experience preferred.
  • Warehouse Management and order tracking experience preferred.
  • Competitively urgent and creative with a proven track record of delivering sustainable improvements.
  • Ability to learn and leverage dealership business systems.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to influence direct and indirect team members effectively.
  • Professional interpersonal skills; bilingual ability is an asset.
  • Adaptable to changing priorities, able to meet deadlines under pressure.

Working Conditions

  • Primarily indoor work; occasional exposure to non-climate-controlled environments and outdoors.
  • Meaningful time spent at 15 locations across South Carolina.
  • Involves standing, stooping, squatting, pushing, pulling, twisting, lifting.
  • Requires visual and written communication skills.
  • Regular use of computers and technology.
