Reporting to the Sr. Director, Product Marketing, the Sr. Product Marketing Manager is responsible for bringing energy, precision, and strong execution skills to drive new logo acquisition and customer retention across the Cofense Phishing Defense Platform. This is an individual contributor role built for someone who delivers consistent, thoughtful work that moves the business forward. You will play a central role in how Cofense communicates value to the market and strengthens the security programs of some of the world's most targeted organizations.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

Product Messaging & Positioning Execution



  • Translate the PMM strategy into crisp, operational product messaging focused on the value of threat detection and post-delivery remediation.
  • Ensure product level messaging connects to Cofense's differentiated platform strengths.
  • Support platform-level narratives that guide the FY2026 strategy while owning product-level execution.


Competitive Intelligence & Sales Enablement



  • Own competitive analysis in partnership with Product Management and deliver insights that help Sales win.
  • Build competitive battlecards, talk tracks, objection handling, and persona-focused content that differentiates Cofense and is grounded in what real customers tell us.
  • Partner with the Sales Enablement to manage field rollout, training, and feedback loops.


Content Development for Technical Audiences



  • Develop product one-pagers, feature briefs, customer-facing FAQs, and in-depth technical explainers for core product functionality.
  • Tailor content using Cofense persona insights for SOC analysts, incident responders, threat hunters, intel teams, and cyber awareness leaders.
  • Write with clarity and confidence while keeping the tone accessible for practitioners.


Customer Lifecycle Support



  • Build retention-focused messaging that reinforces value, supports adoption, and helps customers mature their phishing defense program.
  • Partner with Customer Success to identify patterns in customer workflows, challenges, and wins, and turn those insights into improved storytelling and product recommendations.


Product Launch Execution



  • Support the launch process for new features and enhancements by developing collateral, messaging updates, and competitive positioning.
  • Lead release marketing activities and manage cross-functional dependencies with Product, Marketing, and Enablement to deliver clean, timely, actionable materials.


Proof, Evidence, and Outcomes



  • Create concise customer stories and case studies that show measurable outcomes and use them to support Sales, renewals, and adoption efforts.
  • Use data and insights to illustrate real-world results and apply them in competitive positioning, retention messaging, and expansion initiatives.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:



  • Strong grasp of phishing threats, email security gaps, SOC operations, and analyst workflows.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive execution and deliver clear, well-structured marketing outputs.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly, accurately, and confidently.
  • Demonstrable success of cross-functional execution with Product, Sales Engineering, and Customer Success.
  • Comfort working in an environment focused on operational outcomes.
  • A writing style that is clear, concise, and grounded in credible, human-centered security insights.


Education and/or Experience:



  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 6-10 years of product marketing experience in cybersecurity or enterprise SaaS.
  • Experience creating competitive positioning and enablement assets.
