Full Time Registered Dietitian | Open to Hours, Either 32-40 hours/week | .8 FTE - 1.0 FTE l No weekends, holidays, or on-call Ecumen Lakeshore-The Fountains provides short-term rehab and post-hospital care for up to 60 patients in spacious, private rooms along the picturesque shore of Lake Superior. This is a unique opportunity to work in a post-acute/rehab Transitional Care Unit (TCU) rather than a traditional skilled nursing setting. Our TCU offers a faster-paced environment with an average stay of 14-21 days, allowing the Dietitian to work on advanced clinical cases while still having the time to provide deeper assessments, meaningful counseling, and the ability to monitor progress and outcomes. It truly offers the best of both worlds, clinical complexity with time for relationship-building with patients and families. The Dietitian is responsible for resident nutrition care including menu development, modified diet textures and therapeutic needs of the resident's nutrition status. This position provides nutrition direction based on the individual care plan of each resident and complies with licensing guidelines, state and federal regulations, and follows established facility policies and procedures. This position may also assist with the total food service operation for the facility by assisting with preparation, serving and clean-up as directed. This role also benefits from strong support systems, including an engaged interdisciplinary team, a network of Ecumen RDNs for mentorship, and access to a Corporate Dietitian for guidance on complex situations. The targeted annual salary range for this job is $62,000 - $72,000 (as a 1.0FTE) Ecumen considers a variety of factors when determining new hire pay including experience, qualifications, and, when applicable, certifications, licenses, and education.
