What will you do as a Performance Improvement Leader at Sealed Air?

As a Performance Improvement Leader, you will drive a culture of continuous improvement and Lean Enterprise across our manufacturing and supply chain operations. You will lead key initiatives to optimize processes, enhance efficiency, and strengthen collaboration across teams and sites.


You will be responsible for implementing and sustaining Lean methodologies on the shop floor, developing people capabilities, and ensuring measurable and lasting impact in operational performance.

Why do we need you?


  • Implement Lean within Manufacturing and Supply Chain organizations.



  • Provide intensive training to production teams and drive cultural change throughout the organization.



  • Teach, demonstrate, and coordinate Lean implementation activities on the shop floor, including:




    • Kanban



    • Material Conveyance



    • Production Flow



    • Supermarket design and deployment



    • Value Stream Mapping (VSM)



    • Takt Time Analysis



    • Problem Solving



    • Standardized Work



    • Set-up Reduction (SMED/QCO)



    • 5S / Visual Workplace / Visual Factory



    • Error Proofing / Poka-Yoke



    • Total Productive Maintenance (TPM)



    • Scheduling and Kaizen initiatives





  • Ensure consistency and standardization of Lean methods across sites.



  • Support and coach plant Lean teams to sustain improvements achieved through Lean initiatives.



  • Act as the main contact for Lean improvement plan development and implementation.



  • Lead Kaizen events as needed and promote best-practice sharing across plants.



  • Develop and maintain a Lean reporting system (projects and financial results) and report regularly to line and functional management.



  • Manage and follow up on multiple Lean projects across different production sites.



  • Exchange experiences and best practices with other Lean organizations and teams globally.



What do you need to succeed?


  • Bachelor's degree required; Engineering degree (Chemical, Industrial, or Electrical) preferred.



  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment with demonstrated Lean implementation.



  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent certification highly preferred.



  • Proven track record of leading Kaizen events and driving sustained improvement on the shop floor.



  • Strong skills in project management, team leadership, and communication.



  • Experience training, facilitating, and coaching Lean concepts at all levels of the organization.



  • Solid understanding of Lean metrics and financial impact related to process improvements.



  • Passion for developing people and leading cultural transformation through continuous improvement.
