Job Description

The Vendor Management Business Continuity Specialist II plays a key role in strengthening the credit union's operational resilience by supporting and leading components of the business continuity and vendor management programs. This position is responsible for assisting with the development, maintenance, and testing of the credit union's business continuity program and vendor management program. This role ensures operational resilience and compliance with applicable regulations by independently performing reviews, analyzing vendor performance with business units so that the vendor relationship owner can hold vendors accountable, coordinating continuity planning across departments, and serves as a subject matter resource for staff and department leaders. Performs all duties in accordance with FirstLight's policies and procedures, state and federal laws and regulations. The Vendor Manager Business Continuity Specialist II performs detailed periodic reviews on the Vendor Management System to ensure all Vendor Management Documentation is current to include contracts to monitor for continued compliance. This level requires the ability to lead cross-functional activities, provide analysis with minimal supervision, and present to stakeholders.


Job Qualifications

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:

Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.Certified Regulatory Vendor Program Manager Certifications must be obtained within one (1) year of assignment.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

Three (3) years of relevant experience in business continuity planning, vendor risk, or operational risk. To include two (2) years of experience in administration of vendor management, financial institution operations, or supply chain knowledge.
