Intern, Project Development

What You Can Expect

As a Project Development Intern, you'll support Project Managers in delivering utility projects that meet design, budget, and schedule goals while gaining hands-on experience across the full project lifecycle-from design to hand over to Operations and Maintenance. You'll work closely with engineering, procurement, and operations teams to ensure quality, safety, and client satisfaction.

• Maintain project schedules and assist with progress updates, budget tracking, and reporting
• Collaborate on construction drawings, procurement, and supplier contract management

What You'll Bring

• Must be an enrolled student at the University of Iowa
• A minimum junior or senior pursuing a bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field
• A proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation

Additional Details

• The internship work term will be from January 2026 to May 2026 and eligible to work up to 20 hours per week. Interns must be enrolled students in good standing at the commencement of the intern semester at the University of Iowa
• This role is eligible for our hybrid in-office work schedule policy
• Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies

Compensation

Hourly Range: $24.50 - $31.00 USD hourly

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.
