As an Accounts Payable Generalist, you ensure accurate invoice processing and vendor payments for the LHC Group Home Office and affiliated facilities. You work as part of a collaborative AP team, reporting directly to the Accounts Payable Manager. With room for decision-making and prioritization, you take ownership of assigned projects and contribute to the smooth operation of the department through precision, responsiveness, and a commitment to excellence.

You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Review and post daily invoice reports; ensure data accuracy and proper approvals
  • Process vendor payments with required documentation and maintain disbursement records
  • Research and resolve duplicate payments; assist with bank reconciliations and electronic payment input
  • Respond to inquiries from vendors and internal teams within one business day
  • Support system administration, testing, and 1099 maintenance
  • Assist with departmental compliance, overflow tasks, and other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of accounts payable experience, including electronic and multi-location processing
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Proven solid organizational and time management skills
  • Proven solid attention to accuracy and timeliness
  • Proven professional communication skills for interacting with employees and vendors

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $xx.xx to $xx.xx per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
