About the role:

FIS is seeking a seasoned IT Architect Specialist with deep expertise in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure), infrastructure automation, and modern software development practices. This role will collaborate with global cloud teams to architect and standardize cloud deployment templates across the full development lifecycle-from sandbox to production. You will build automation tooling, streamline hosting processes, and contribute to a culture of innovation and technical excellence.

What you will be doing:

  • Architect and implement scalable cloud solutions using AWS and Azure.

  • Develop workflows for orchestrating infrastructure deployment using APIs.

  • Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Harness, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions.

  • Build and maintain Terraform modules for cloud provisioning and configuration.

  • Analyze, design, code, debug, and enhance cloud-native applications and deployment frameworks.

  • Collaborate with product managers and developers to define system requirements and technical specifications.

  • Participate in design reviews and software architecture discussions.

  • Document installation, maintenance, and operational procedures.

  • Mentor team members and contribute to internal training and knowledge sharing.

  • Present technical solutions to internal and external stakeholders.

What you will need:

  • 7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, software engineering, or cloud architecture.

  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS and Azure cloud platforms.

  • Proficient in developing and testing libraries using programming languages (Python, Go, etc.).

  • Solid understanding of networking, storage, security, and system interdependencies.

  • Experience with CI/CD tools and practices: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Bitbucket.

  • Experience with containerizing workloads and using Kubernetes (Helm, ArgoCD).

  • Familiarity with Artifactory for artifact management.

  • Experience with Terraform (TF) and a strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.

  • Knowledge of software development methodologies (Agile, DevOps).

  • Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field-or equivalent experience.

Added bonus if you have:

  • Experience with infrastructure automation tools (Terraform Enterprise, Harness).

  • Knowledge of financial services industry and regulatory environments.

  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence architectural decisions.

  • Positive attitude, collaborative spirit, and a passion for learning new technologies.

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $140,890.00 - $236,690.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
