Manager of Administrative Services II The State of Connecticut Judicial Branch is seeking a Manager of Administrative Services II to work in the Judicial Branch Court Support Services Division Central Office, overseeing Fiscal Administration, which currently includes three Program Managers, nine Accounting Staff, and two Administrative Assistants; interfaces regularly with Judicial Branch Legal Services, Grants Management, Financial Services, Purchasing, and other Administrative Services Division departments; manages the Other Contracted Expenses (OCE) budget for the Division, fiscal oversight of contracted services budgets, Restitution, and other projects. Experience with staff supervision, contracts, nine-figure budget, legislative and government fiscal process, financial planning, and auditing practices and principles preferred. Preference will be given to those who possess strong organization and communication skills. Salary Range: $119,852 - $157,400/year – plus State of Connecticut benefits. New employees begin at the minimum. The starting salary for existing state employees may be higher than the minimum, in accordance with existing Judicial Branch policy. EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING General Experience: Ten years of professional experience in the assigned area of responsibility. Special Experience: Two (2) years of the General Experience must have been in a supervisory capacity. Substitutions Allowed: 1) College training may be substituted for the General Experience on the basis of fifteen semester hours equaling one-half year of experience to a maximum of four years for a Bachelor’s degree. 2) A Master’s degree related to the assigned area of responsibility may be substituted for one additional year of the General Experience.
