JOB SUMMARY

Facilitate production by handling general tasks in and around the shop.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS


  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year experience working in a similar position doing manual labor


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS


  • Bilingual preferred but not required.


KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES


  • Ability to do physical labor
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions
  • Must be punctual and reliable.
  • Required to maintain a valid driver's license



JOB RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Perform general labor that is required to support the production team with the fabrication, welding, painting, and assembling of equipment.
  • Use cranes and lifts to stage large materials in the fabrication area.
  • Prep items for painting including power washing and taping units as instructed.
  • Use power tools including drills and impacts to assemble components to equipment.
  • Set up and clean workstations to ensure production runs smoothly.
  • Help stage parts in storage cabinets for the fabrication and assembly areas.
  • Help verify inventory by performing cycle counts.
  • Use the company vehicle to pick up parts and materials when needed.
  • Keep work areas clean, including tables, cabinets, and floors.
  • Keep materials and parts organized.
  • Perform other tasks and special projects as assigned
