Responsibilities

Fort Lauderdale Behavioral Health Center is a 182-bed, acute care psychiatric hospital located in the beautiful Oakland Park neighborhood of Fort Lauderdale, FL. FLBHC features individual units for children, adolescents, adults, and seniors, and offers inpatient acute care, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient programs. Fort Lauderdale Behavioral Health Center is hiring for a AP/Payroll Clerk.

Qualifications

Education/Training:

  • Associates Degree or equivalent work experience.

Experience:

  • A minimum of two (2) years of accounts payable/payroll experience with a healthcare background preferred.
  • Use of personal computers a must with preferred knowledge and/or training in payroll/accounts payable systems.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel,
  • UKG experience preferred
  • Lawson experience preferred.

Additional Requirements:

  • Certifications or continued education in related field a plus but not required.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Able to maintain time keeping system and communicate any possible errors to appropriate manger, CFO and Sr. Accoutnant
  • Able to process payroll in a timely manner and adhere to all corporate guidelines
  • Able to follow corporate guidelines for payment to vendors.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality in relation to both employee information as well as vendor information.
  • Able to complete other duties as assigned.
  • Sensitive and aware of diverse cultures and their practices.
