As a Security Officer - Healthcare Patrol Rounds FT in Novi, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Allied Universal Security Professional in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas while remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents and promote a secure environment for all. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, assisting visitors and staff with their needs, and providing exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergencies as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents in the healthcare location, following established protocols.
• Assist with access control, visitor management, and monitoring of entrances and exits as part of daily duties.
• Support emergency response efforts by following established procedures and communicating with Allied Universal management and local authorities when appropriate.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports of activities, incidents, and/or observations during each shift.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
