Short Description:
IR RN D/E/N Rotating Shift Schedule, floating, holidays, weekends, on call/callback and charge per unit needs Will consider 13 or 17 weeks Complete Description: This is a fast-paced pre/post interventional radiology department in a level 1 Trauma center. We cater to inpatient and outpatient populations across the lifespan. Nurses work within a multidisciplinary team and are responsible for the pre-procedural preparation of patients and post-procedural recovery and overnight observation care. Experience with GI post-procedural care is preferred but not required. Exciting opportunity for nurses who want to work in the high-energy environment of Diagnostic Imaging. We specialize in providing care for patients undergoing CT scans, MRI's, Nuclear Medicine scans, X-ray, and ultrasound. Good communication skills, as well as the ability to critically think, are essential. If you are team-oriented, enthusiastic, flexible, and organized, come join our team! Medical/Surgical and telemetry experience preferred. RN responsible for pre/post and 23hr care for IR patients. Care for patients boarding overnight pre or post-procedure. BLS and ACLS required.
