Job Title: Customer Service Representative- Billing Location: Oakland Park FL Pay rate: $18.83/ per hour on W2 without benefits Duration: 3+ Months (potential extension) Hours/week: 40hrs Must have: Recent Customer service experience (2-3 years). Billing. Cash Handling. Job Description: A strong customer service orientation in work and communication with coworkers, management, external customers, and the general public, including problem resolution skills and effectiveness in dealing with angry or frustrated customers. Roles and Responsibilities: Working Knowledge of customer application procedures, collections process, and customer billing practices. Cash handling, balancing cash drawers Familiarity with current office technologies, standard office practices, personal computers, and related peripheral equipment. Required Skills: Computer, copier, Adding Machine, Phone Computer Software to be used: Munis/Tyler, BCPA, Internet High school diploma or GED Certificate, with 1 year of experience in a customer service environment that includes cash handling or basic funds accounting, with familiarity and experience in operating personal computers and related peripheral equipment, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Ability to type 25 wpm. Preferred Skills: 3 years of experience in a customer environment that includes cash handling or basic funds accounting, with familiarity and experience in operating a personal computer and related peripheral equipment. 1 year utility billing experience.
