Warehouse Utility- Atlantic, IA

Overview/Function: The role provides miscellaneous support to the delivery/warehouse teams, truck maintenance shop and building and grounds maintenance.

This role will be needed to help move DOT vehicles- due to this, we are requiring a CDL Class A or B.

Major Responsibilities:

• Responsible for forklift propane maintenance.
• Conduct daily checks of trailers for raw materials and full goods.
• Wash trucks and trailers
• Maintain housekeeping duties (cleaning, organizing, etc)
• Maintain company grounds (pick up trash, shovel snow, cut grass, leaf removal)
• Responsible for processing all recycling materials produced by production facility
• Report problems or damages that occur.
• Regular, consistent attendance is an essential job function.
• Other duties as required.

Experience & Qualifications:

• High school diploma/GED. (Equivalent experience will be considered.)
• Ability to read and follow directions and work orders.
• Ability to follow all safety requirements/protocols.
• Customer-focused and an excellent team-player who is flexible and willing to adapt to varying situations.
• Some light computer experience is helpful.
• Regular, consistent attendance is an essential job function.

Additional:

• This position is very active. They will frequently lift and/or move items up to 55 lbs. (Moving equipment and tools will be provided to reduce strains and injury.)
• Standing, walking, twisting, grasping, reaching, pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, sitting, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing will be required. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
• To accomplish their tasks, the position will need to work around variety of weather environments which Iowa offers (i.e. sun, rain, sleet, rain, snow, cold, heat)
• Must have reliable transportation.
