Material Handler: Shipping/Receiving Warehouse Clerk - JLL What this job involves: As a Material Handler: Shipping/Receiving or Warehouse Clerk at JLL, you will work with diverse internal and external stakeholders at a client site in St. Paul, MN to provide comprehensive warehouse and shipping support services. This role offers opportunities for both experienced professionals and entry-level candidates who demonstrate strong organizational skills and attention to detail. You'll be responsible for managing the complete lifecycle of package and material handling operations while maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring efficient distribution processes that reflect JLL's commitment to operational excellence and client satisfaction. What your day-to-day will look like: * Receive, sort, process, and distribute all incoming packages and pallets with accuracy and efficiency * Pick up, process, validate documentation, and coordinate handoff to designated freight suppliers for client-outgoing packages * Record and label materials while maintaining inventory using client inventory systems * Enter Bill of Ladings and process 2Ship labels for outbound shipments * Process all requests and orders while preparing and shipping non-regulated packages received daily * Utilize scanners to scan and record all incoming and outgoing packages, troubleshooting Trackpad equipment and software issues * Use SCLogic data analytics to create reports and provide metrics on incoming and outbound shipping data * Clearly identify, sort, and manage all good and bad pallet inventories for mail, shipping, and receiving operations * Weigh and record weight of corrugated material and bundle for shipment daily * Prepare courier packages, coordinate pick-up and delivery, and confirm receipt with appropriate stakeholders * Manage incoming and outgoing temperature-sensitive shipments with proper handling protocols * Deliver or coordinate pickup of packages to customer work areas Required Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent * Ability to interact professionally with client personnel * Strong customer service and interpersonal skills * Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to present information clearly and concisely * High degree of accuracy for handling sensitive equipment and proper routing of shipments * Ability to work in fast-paced environment while managing multiple work streams and priorities * Physical ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly and perform lifting, bending, twisting, and operating manual pallet jack * Ability to frequently walk up and down stairs for inspections and emergency procedures * Ability to detect emergency alarms (auditory and visual) Preferred Qualifications: * Computer skills and experience with Microsoft products such as Excel, Word, and Outlook * Previous warehouse or shipping/receiving experience * Experience with inventory management systems and data analytics tools * Knowledge of freight and shipping procedures and regulations * Experience with barcode scanning equipment and troubleshooting Location: Onsite - St. Paul, MN Estimated compensation for this position: 20.00 - 24.00 USD per yearThis range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
