JOB TITLE: Sr/Lead SC Risk Management Manager

DEPARTMENT: Supply Chain Excellence - Kansas City Headquarters or Topeka General Office

LOCATION: Kansas City, MO or Topeka, KS

PAY RANGE:

Sr SC Risk Management Mgr: $81,800 - $109,100

Lead SC Risk Management Mgr: $96,300 - $128,400

Scheduled Work Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Job may require additional hours as required.

Summary of Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for the development and execution of comprehensive supply chain risk management strategies to enhance resilience and ensure compliance. This role proactively identifies and monitors risk indicators, initiates timely alerts, and drives business continuity planning. Collaborates cross-functionally to assess risk exposure, design mitigation strategies, and ensures compliance. Is aware of evolving directives and engages subject matter experts to interpret guidance from external agencies (e.g., FEMA, DOE, NERC), delivering impact assessments and actionable recommendations to key stakeholders.

Major responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

*Develop, maintain, and implement supply chain risk policies and procedures.

*Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify, assess, and monitor supply chain risks (e.g. geopolitical, environmental, cyber, regulatory).

*Collaborate with key stakeholders to provide to develop and monitor mitigation plans.

*Conduct business continuity scenario planning and stress testing for high-impact events.

*Ensure compliance with industry regulations (e.g., NERC CIP, FERC) and maintain audit documentation.

*Create dashboards and reports for leadership and regulatory bodies.

*Benchmark practices against industry standards and participates in peer reviews.

Education and Experience:

* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Risk Management, or related field (Master's preferred).

*3-5 years in supply chain risk management or compliance roles.

*Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (NERC CIP, FERC) and risk management methodologies.

*Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills.

*Proficiency in risk monitoring tools and reporting platforms.

*Preferred certifications: CSCP, CRMP, CBCP.

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

* Highly organized and efficient, with a proven ability to streamline business support processes.

* Excellent communicator, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

* Talent Framework Behaviors required for the role, based on the level of the role

Licenses, Certifications, and/or Testing:

Successful candidate must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.

Working Conditions:

Working conditions will vary from office to field environment. Must be able to work additional hours, both indoors and outdoors, on short notice in all types of weather.

Office environment with both in office and remote working conditions.
