Launch is an innovative, cohort-based professional development program designed to help high achieving college grads jump start their careers. Be part of a team participating in real-world, challenging, interactive, and action-based learning curriculum, developing your skills on the job. You'll earn valuable experience over three 12-month rotations through different areas of the company.




As a member of our Launch Program Class of 2029, you'll be fully immersed with a global team of technical solutions experts, eager to teach and learn from you along the way. You'll develop a strong understanding of how a global business operates from the inside and develop functional and leadership skills that will set a solid foundation for the rest of your career.


We offer opportunities to work in locations including Chicago, IL.



Potential rotations could include Solutions Specialist, Solutions Consultant, Application Engineer, and/or Solutions Archiect. In these types of roles, you can add value by:



  • Assist on engineering tasks such as network design and network consulting within a pre-sales process of a project.




  • Create Bill of Materials for real world applications utilizing Belden products and technologies.






  • Assist on generating documentation related to the pre-sales process of an industrial networking project.






  • Learn how to troubleshoot technical network issues with automation systems.






  • Develop and hone critical channel and end-user skills.

A successful Technical Solutions Launch Program candidate will bring:





  • Passion - we value enthusiasm, initiative, and excitement to take on new challenges and solve for tomorrow's problems.






  • Academic Achievement - you are pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics or Electrical Engineering, or related field of study with anticipated completion date by or before July 2026. This role and the Launch Program is intended for entry-level candidates available for full-time employment starting in July or August 2026.






  • Experience - you have previously completed two related internships or have two years of related work experience, including software and/or networking application design, fluency in ChaptGPT or similar AI platform, and preferably foundational academic training on PLCs, IOT Platforms, and Networking Ethernet-based systems.






  • Intellectual Curiosity - you are analytical and determined, with strong communication and relationship building abilities.

Applicants can expect a base compensation of $82,000 plus benefits and additional incentives based on the level of the role. This is the reasonable estimate that Belden believes it might pay for this job based on applicable circumstances at the time of posting. Belden may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law, and commensurate with the applicant's experience, qualifications, and geographical location.
