Job Description Summary The primary responsibility of the Sr. Director, Financial ERP, Apps, & PMO will be the oversight of the Finance ERP strategy, assessment, and future state evolution. This role will also serve as the Finance organizations coordination point for all other technology initiatives and facilitate the cross-org prioritization, resourcing, and governance of the portfolio.
Position Responsibilities:
Lead the workstream to assess the practicality of separating the Financial ERP (TBD) from the Operational ERP (Wynne Systems - Rentalman), inclusive of the proposal for which specific process areas should be separated (ideally end-to end) Coordinate with internal (Finance, IT, Ops) and external (Vendors, Consulting Partners) resources to arrive at the collective well-informed proposal from the teams Utilizing the ERP workstream team's assessment proposal, develop the business case, resourcing plans, and major deliverable timelines to facilitate a "go/no-go" decision about whether to proceed with the ERP separation Should the company decide to proceed forward with the ERP separation, own the mobilization and execution phases of this workstream managing ERP selection, negotiations, workstream structures, resourcing, and program governance Develop visibility to the organizations current state tools and capabilities and work with the VP, Finance Tech to build the organizations alignment to move to a future state architecture which rationalizes the effectiveness of the "whole" vs. group-by-group optimizations Mange the organizations technology initiative intake process, rationalization against the strategy, cross team prioritization, coordination with cross-functional partners, and mange the portfolio's governance processes (execution effectiveness, value attainment, etc.) Support change management activities to help build excitement around the future state vision and technologies, enable more efficient transformation, and maximize adoption and utilization of new capabilities Research, bring forward, and pilot new technologies to help the organization continue to innovate and continually improve teams' processes and capabilities Hires, trains, coaches, and inspires a team of Analysts/Managers to execute on above deliverables and export team talent to the broader organization Works on special projects as needs arise and assigned by senior management
Requirements:
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, Information Systems or a related field or equivalent years of experience in a related field, masters degree a plus Minimum of 15 years of experience in systems supporting finance and accounting
Includes at least 10 years of experience specifically supporting Financial ERP systems and processes (AP, AR, GL, Fixed Assets, etc.) . Previous experience managing ERP upgrades, transitions, or implementations a strong plus Includes at least 5 years of experience in a leadership role having ownership of a portfolio of technology programs (intake, resourcing, governance processes) Includes at least 10 years of team / workgroup leadership experience
Experience with a variety of ERP systems, experience with Wynne Rentalman (or other AS 400 based ERP systems) and Oracle Cloud ERP is a plus Attention and adherence to Compliance, Controls, Security, and Regulatory requirements relevant to finance Technologie Outstanding organizational and time management skills and the ability to prioritize multiple assignments Demonstrated ability to work with all levels of the organization Dependable and motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently, as well as part of a team. Experience in a variety of Industries to bring a broader perspective, rental industry or related field a plus Advanced MS Office, strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as presentation skills
Physical Demands:
Must be able to bend, squat, crouch and/or reach and lift up to 25 pounds or more, as required by the job. Some Sunbelt jobs may require driving for long periods of time, loading and unloading heavy equipment, performing work in extreme weather conditions including rain, wind, or excessive temperatures and/or night and weekend work. Base Pay Range: $164,000.00 - 225,500.00
