 Job Overview
 The Enterprise Sourcing Manager at T-Mobile is instrumental in developing and implementing strategic sourcing initiatives that align with corporate objectives and operational needs. This role is responsible for strategic sourcing activities across Corporate and Professional Services, including Financial Operations, Consulting, Credit Risk and other related categories. By negotiating favorable terms and managing long-term contracts with suppliers, the manager contributes to significant cost savings and enhances supplier relationships. The position involves rigorous supplier performance evaluations and scenario analysis to advise purchasing decisions and optimize spending. Through these activities, the Enterprise Sourcing Manager plays a crucial role in supporting T-Mobile's operational excellence and competitive positioning in the market.
 
Job Responsibilities: 
 - Develops and executes strategic sourcing initiatives that align with corporate objectives and operational needs with a focus on Consulting and Professional Services.
 - Negotiates favorable terms and manages long-term contracts with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
 - Procures a wide range of services across Corporate and Professional Services, including Financial Operations, Professional Services and Consulting categories.
 - Conducts rigorous supplier performance evaluations and scenario analysis to inform purchasing decisions.
 - Optimizes spending and contributes to significant cost savings through effective sourcing strategies.
 - Enhances supplier relationships by maintaining clear and effective communication.
 - Also responsible for other Duties/Projects as assigned by business management as needed.
 
 
Education and Work Experience: 
 - Bachelor's Degree Supply Chain Management, Business, or Engineering (Required)
 - Master's/Advanced Degree Business Administration or Supply Chain Management (Preferred)
 - 4-7 years - Experience in enterprise sourcing, particularly in professional services and consulting categories. (Required)
 - 4-7 years - Experience in managing business requirements, project plans, project schedules, and associated project materials in a mid to large size company. (Required)
 - 4-7 years - Experience in strategic sourcing, including development and management of category strategies, RFP/RFI development, and contract negotiations. (Required)
 
 
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 
 - Negotiation- Expertise in negotiating terms and managing contracts with suppliers to ensure favorable terms and cost savings. (Required)
 - Strategic Sourcing- Ability to develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies that align with corporate objectives. (Required)
 - Vendor Management- Skills in overseeing and improving supplier relationships, including conducting performance evaluations. (Required)
 - Financial Analysis- Proficiency in conducting scenario analysis and optimizing spending to support budget management. (Required)
 - Project Management- Capability to manage multiple sourcing projects, ensuring they meet timelines and corporate standards. (Required)
 - Analytics- Strong analytical skills to assess procurement data and make informed decisions. (Required)
 - Communication- Capable of translating analytics into actionable insights and executive-ready recommendations. (Required)
 - Problem Solving- Ability to identify issues in the procurement process and develop effective solutions. (Required)
 - Business Acumen- Understanding of market trends and business principles relevant to procurement and supply chain management. (Required)
 - Leadership- Skills in leading teams and projects, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.
 - Microsoft Excel Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting in sourcing activities. (Required)
 
 
Licenses and Certifications: 
 - Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) Certification from APICS that demonstrates knowledge and skills in supply chain management, including procurement and sourcing strategies. (Preferred)
 - Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) Certification from the Institute for Supply Management (ISM) that signifies expertise in supply management and procurement functions. (Preferred)
 - Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM): Certification that indicates advanced knowledge in purchasing management, contract negotiation, and supplier analysis. (Preferred)

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range. 
 
At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee's eligible earnings in the prior year.
