Ericsson also does not hire F-1's working on EAD for this position Production Planner Intern Location: Lewisville, TX Duration: 12 weeks Start date: Tuesday, May 26, 2026 Upload an unofficial copy of your transcript About this opportunity: As a Production Planner Intern, you will learn the production order flow in a fast-paced environment and help streamline the process of keeping production order status up to date. Current challenges include managing orders that go to repair and can become delayed or require scrapping. By improving and simplifying these processes, this role aims to increase efficiency for production planners and operations. What you will do: Monitor, analyze, and schedule flexible and efficient use of production capacity Plan and schedule workflow according to established manufacturing sequence and lead times Ensure planned orders meet shipping dates driven by forecasts, production plans, or customer orders Lead or support improvement projects in production planning Track and report performance, establish KPIs for assigned areas Communicate production and planning status to all stakeholders Use analytical skills to identify and resolve planning issues Coordinate repair planning for returned units Schedule monthly preventive maintenance of SMA (Surface Mount Assembly) and Radio Access test stations in coordination with Operations and Production The skills you bring: Required: Minimum 2.7 GPA (or equivalent); please upload an unofficial transcript Actively enrolled full-time in an accredited undergraduate, master's program at a four-year college or university at the time of the internship Available to work 40 hours per week Commitment to promote, understand, and strictly adhere to safety, environmental, and quality guidelines Background in Production engineering or engineering in general, logistics, planning, or a related field Interest in working in a production environment Strong communication skills and the ability to convey information clearly both written and spoken Why join Ericsson?
