Step into a role as The Education and Development Manager at Steve and Kate's Camps where in this role, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the organization's learning strategy. This role blends strategic vision with hands-on implementation- designing scalable education and training resources that empower staff across all levels to grow, thrive, and deliver on our mission. As part of a collaborative and creative team, the Manager will lead initiatives that promote clarity, innovation, and continuous improvement, while partnering cross-functionally to bring engaging, values-aligned learning experiences to life.

Responsibilities:

Depending on the line of business, the position may perform some or all of the below functions:

  • Partner with Camp Leadership to build the roadmap, and structure for Learning across camp brands, balancing long-term growth with current business needs

  • Develop a unified approach to training across HQ, Field, and Seasonal roles-ensuring alignment with company values, operating principles, and growth goals

  • Guide and execute the strategic evolution of the Learning Management System (LMS) ensuring consistency, scalability, and alignment across departments and business lines, while supporting the execution of day-to-day operations and content delivery.

  • Build a scalable content governance model to ensure training materials remain up-to-date, accessible, and clearly organized.

  • Partner with department leadership to translate content into engaging, role-specific and relevant, training that supports in-season implementation

  • Establish regular feedback loops with learners of all levels to continuously improve resources and training delivery

  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes across departments. Collaborate with cross-functional owners to support implementation and adoption.

  • Serve as a key thought partner with all stakeholders, and other cross-functional leads, and project partners to shape learning strategy that supports performance, engagement, and retention

  • Guide cross-functional teams in how to approach content development, learning design, and measurement of learning outcomes

  • Defines learning metrics, evaluates effectiveness, and uses insights to refine training.

  • Stay informed on best practices and innovations in learning theory, applying research-backed frameworks to support a variety of adult learning styles

  • Define key learning metrics and build processes to evaluate training effectiveness, learning outcomes, and overall engagement regularly

Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • 5 years experience in either project management or communications

  • Demonstrated project management skills

  • Advanced computer software skills in Microsoft Office applications;

  • Design and/or video production skills preferred;

  • Strong writing skills;

  • Commitment to on-going learning;

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Demonstrated success building or scaling L&D systems, tools, or programs

  • Deep understanding of adult learning theory or childhood education, instructional design, and modern learning technologies

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for making complex information feel simple and actionable

  • High comfort level with tools like Google Workspace, Asana, Jotform, and LMS platforms (e.g., LearnUpon)

Salary/Hourly Rate and Other Compensation Disclosures:

The annual starting salary for this position is between $85,000- $98,000. The pay range listed here is what Bright Horizons in good faith anticipates offering for this job opening. Actual compensation offers within this range will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education and training, certifications, geography, and other relevant business or organizational factors.
