THE ROLE:

The Senior Director, Product Strategy will lead the strategic development of A+E's digital product vision across owned-and-operated (O&O) platforms. The Sr. Director of Product Strategy will be instrumental in shaping the future of how A+E content is delivered and monetized across platforms-including mobile and connected TV apps and sites, looking at both AVOD and SVOD channels.

This role requires a balance of strategic thinking, partnership collaboration, and product insight. A key member of the Digital leadership team, the Sr. Director will align with monetization, content, UI/UX, engineering, and data teams across the organization to optimize performance, drive innovation, and deliver meaningful consumer experiences. This role will work intensively with Global Technology and Media Operations (GTMO) to align and prioritize roadmaps.

MORE ABOUT WHAT YOU'LL DO: Senior Director, Product Strategy

  • Develop and lead the digital product strategy across O&O and third-party platforms (e.g. TVE site & apps, SVOD experience, etc.).
  • Collaborate with monetization and editorial/content teams to align product features with revenue and engagement goals.
  • Partner with data, tech, engineering and individual product teams to deliver scalable and impactful product experiences.
  • Monitor and interpret industry trends, competitive product roadmaps, and platform requirements.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS: Senior Director, Product Strategy

  • 10+ years of experience in product management or platform strategy, with at least 4 years in a leadership role.
  • Deep understanding of digital media business models, including ad-supported and subscription services.
  • Strong strategic planning and cross-functional leadership skills, especially in matrixed organizations.
  • Proven experience working with third-party distribution platforms (e.g., Roku, Amazon, YouTube, MVPD apps).
  • Demonstrated ability to use data and analytics to drive strategic decisions.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills with proven ability to influence and align executive stakeholders.
  • Passion for consumer experience, innovation, and the evolving digital media ecosystem.
  • Bachelor's degree in related field or commensurate experience is preferred.
Compensation Annual Pay Range: $205,128 - $240,000 Annual Incentive Target: 20.00%
